Hone Week terms

Effective October 24, 2026

These terms cover Hone Week: the planner at honeweek.com and the Hone Week app for iPhone. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence for apps also applies to it.

Free, as it is

Hone Week is free and provided as it is. If that ever changes, you will be told before anything is charged. We may change or stop the service at any time. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We are not liable for lost tasks, though we work hard to keep them.

Who can use it

Hone Week is for ages 16 and up, or 13 and up with a parent's permission. Accounts are for people 13 and over; nobody under 13 may make one. The iPhone app works without an account.

Your tasks are yours

What you write in Hone Week is yours. If you sign in, we keep your tasks so they follow you across your devices, as the privacy page describes.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled by your phone, and your phone's settings, a low battery or a Focus mode can stop one from showing. Do not rely on Hone Week as your only reminder for anything where a miss could hurt someone or cost money.

Fair use

Do not try to reach other people's accounts or data, overload the service, or get around its limits.

Ownership, and no copying

Hone Week itself, meaning the app, the site, their design, words, pictures and code, is protected by copyright and other laws, and every right these terms do not give you is kept. You may use Hone Week to plan your own life and work. Do not copy, sell, rent, republish or make your own version of Hone Week or any part of it, and do not take its code apart, except where the law allows that despite this term. The names Hone and Hone Week, and the app's icon, may not be used for another product or in a way that suggests it comes from us.

Shared lists

Shared lists are not in version 1.0 of the Hone Week app. When they open, these terms will be updated first, and the change will be dated.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time: in the app under Settings, Delete account, or on the web at /account/delete. The privacy page says what that removes and the few things that stay.

Changes

When these terms change, we post the new version here with a new effective date. Questions: support@honeweek.com.
