Hone is a practice tool provided as-is, free of charge during beta. Use it for learning. Do not attempt to access other people's profiles, overload the service, or use the coach for anything other than understanding your own code.

Code you write in the editor is yours. We keep versions so you can see your own path to a solution.

You need to be at least 16 to use Hone, or 13 with a parent's permission.

The coach runs on a daily allowance: 40 questions per person per day, and a shared ceiling across the whole site. When either is reached, hints pause until the next day. Your practice, your tests and your progress never stop.

We may change or stop the service at any time. We are not liable for lost progress, though we work hard to keep it.
